Bus Structures Starting with BSAT2c in 2001, Vanguard's Spacecraft Structures heritage now includes small sat buses 36" tall to the SBIRS structure at ~192" tall. With the 2009 addition of the "Eastgate" building, Vanguard now boasts a complete Assembly, Integration and Test facility for all classes of Spacecraft bus. Vanguard heritage includes all aspects of structural integration including panel assembly, metallic foil bonding, OSR bonding, heat pipe panel fabrication and final thermal coatings. Structural verification by thermal cycling, static load test and panel-level NDE round out this extensive and continually expanding capability.
